We are hiring for our client for a newly created Financial Controller position based in the Newry area. This is a significant appointment reporting directly to the Board of Directors and offers the opportunity to shape the financial direction of an ambitious growing organisation.

You will take full ownership of the finance function driving performance improving reporting visibility and supporting strategic decision-making at board level. The Role:
Lead all financial operations across the organisation
Prepare and present monthly board reports and performance analysis
Lead annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting cycles
Deliver detailed cash flow forecasting and working capital management
Drive profitability reporting across business units
Manage year-end audit process and external audit relationships
Develop financial controls systems and reporting processes
Provide commercial insight to support strategic decision-making
Lead and develop the finance team
The Person:
Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
Proven experience operating at Financial Controller level or ready to step up
Strong commercial acumen with experience presenting at board level
Experience with budgeting forecasting and cash flow management
Confident communicator with leadership capability
Comfortable operating in a growth-focused evolving environment
