Warehouse Associate Cylinder Handler (Full Time) Hamilton, ON

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years related experience within a plant or distribution environment
• Forklift operation experience preferred

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Safety conscious and commitment
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations
• Must be dependable and accountable (attendance and punctuality)
• Able to manipulate a variety of cylinder sizes and weights as required
• Able to operate and cylinder filling station and analytical equipment
• Knowledge of gas cylinders
• A team player who can work within tight deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills attention to detail
• Good computer skills
• Strong teamwork problem solving and organizational skills

Warehouse Associate - Cylinder Handler(Full Time) - Hamilton ON

This is an existing position with a starting annual salary of $50960.00.

Major Responsibilities:

• Load / unload trucks confirming cylinder quantities styles and product mix
• This requires the shunting of trucks the use of a forklift and proficiency in cylinder handling
• Put away stock count cylinder loads and warehouse housekeeping
• Fill cylinders as required
• Perform visual physical and odor tests on cylinders before filling and determine whether re-testing and /or repairs are necessary
• Complete and maintain quality control documentation per company and governmental requirements
• Meet established standards for productivity and quality
• Main responsibility will be to fill propane cylinders
