This opportunity goes well beyond traditional BMS work. Youll own the full integration lifecycle architect secure connectivity manage Linux-based edge environments and ensure the delivery of highfidelity highvalue data into nextgeneration cloud platforms.

Your Impact

As the Australian subject matter expert youll act as the technical lead for integrating building systems data into an enterprise analytics platform. You will manage both handson engineering and project coordination ensuring integrations are delivered with accuracy security and reliability.

What Youll Do

Technical Ownership & Core Integration

• Serve as the integration lead on deployment teams owning endtoend connection of building system data to the analytics platform across multiple assets.
• Assess design and recommend integration architectures based on site conditions IT/OT security requirements and project scope.
• Collaborate directly with client IT/OT stakeholders to navigate cybersecurity policies request and validate firewall rules and establish secure outbound connectivity.
• Deploy and configure physical or virtual Linux (Ubuntu) edge devices and gateways; configure Niagara/Tridium environments where relevant.
• Conduct network integrity checks (BACnet scans Wireshark packet analysis) and validate data points against engineering schematics.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency through final data modelling mapping and referencing prior to platform handover.

Deployment & Project Coordination

• Participate in kickoff meetings planning sessions and ongoing project coordination to maintain alignment across internal teams clients and vendors.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly to maintain project timelines and ensure deployment readiness.
• Maintain accurate documentation deployment records and handover packages for operations and support teams.
• Provide postdeployment support throughout transition and warranty periods.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes tools documentation and internal knowledge-sharing.

What You Bring

• 5 years in MSI advanced BMS engineering or OT/IT network engineering.
• Strong capability with major BMS platforms (Siemens Honeywell Tridium/Niagara Alerton Schneider) and protocols (BACnet Modbus MQTT API integrations).
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: IP addressing VLANs VPNs subnets routing cybersecurity principles.
• Handson Linux (Ubuntu LTS) experience for remote device configuration and deployment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical needs across IT engineering and client teams.
• A passion for quality customer empathy and sustainable building performance.
