Wieland is hiring a Slitting Trainer.The Slitting Trainer will be responsible for training the slitting team. This role is located in Reading PAand will be fully on-site.
Starting Pay: 27.75
Schedule: 1st or 2nd shift
Pay Schedule: 3:00-11:00
Responsibilities
Slitter Trainer Responsibilities:
- To produce products which meet or exceed customer specifications at an acceptable productivity level.
- To comply with all safety regulations while in the plant.
- To review the mill card prior to processing in order to understand the requirements of slitting material.
- To set up the assigned equipment and slit the material in accordance with the work instructions located at the equipment site.
- As team leader to provide guidance and instructions to team members as necessary.
- To complete all quality checks and to enter the required information onto the mill card and slitting evaluation form.
- To assist the general mill hand in maintaining a smooth flow of production.
- To comply with the Heyco Quality System at all times during processing.
- To keep the slitter and slitter area clean.
Slitter Trainer Qualifications:
- Be an A-rate slitter at 85% plus productivity
- High school diploma
- Ablity to work first or second shift
