Job Description
As a Security Guard - Flex Patrol Rounds in Troy MI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge processes document activity using a computer and/or tablet and provide professional customer service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following post orders site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities within an industrial location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner reporting details promptly to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings production areas parking lots and the perimeter to help to identify and report unusual activity and security-related concerns.
- Control access points by verifying identification and visitor authorization maintaining visitor and contractor logs and directing deliveries to designated areas.
- Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation monitor for hazards and security-related issues such as damaged doors or fencing and coordinate with on-site teams as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
