Meet or exceed sales goals andobjectivesfor designated products and/or product portfolio within theregionthrough the direct management of salesprofessionalsand provide regular performance updates to salesdirectoras needed.
Participate in face-to-face sales calls with salesprofessionals plan and executeregional and nationalsales meetingsas needed conduct routine performance evaluations of salesprofessionals andparticipateininternal and externalmeetings.
Recruit select train and measure performance of salesprofessionals. Sales managers actively lead coach and developsales professionalsin theirregion.
Analyze sales data performance and trends.Formulate and implement strategies forsales professionalsto create product demand and sales revenue.
Monitor and evaluate competitor activities and products provide regular progress updates to various groups in the home office and respond to requests for informationregardingregionalbusiness.
Developpositive team norms as it relates to culturebehaviorsand performance while furthering the functional skill sets of team members.
Monitor and control expenditures ofregionto meet budgetary requirements.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Regional Sales Managers directly supervise an assigned team of salesprofessionalsranging from8-10sales professionals. Sales managers carry out supervisory responsibilitiesin accordance withcompany policies and all applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities includeleading and developing managers and teams;interviewing hiring and training employees;setting performance expectations;planning assigning and directing work;conducting performance evaluations; recognizing andrewardingperformance; addressing performance gapsand discipliningactions;resolving employee relations issues; and building succession plans to ensure sustaining organizational readiness.
Minimum Education Knowledge Skills
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree from four-year college or university MBA preferred
Minimumeight(8) years of related commercial experience; may include (but not limited to) sales product/brand management sales training management national account management (trade and/or managed care) and/or similar experience
Previouspharmaceuticalor OTCsales experience
Minimumthree(3) year of sales management experience and/or people management experience
Galderma specific experience may be consideredin lieu of management experience
Job title will bedeterminedbased on candidate experience and qualifications
Ability to analyze dataidentifytrends and formulate and execute action plans
Abilityto travel overnight as needed
Excellentverbal andcommunicationas well aspresentation skills
