Job Summary
Seeking a recent high school or college graduate eager to learn basic RNA molecular biology skills.
In this role performs various support functions in research laboratory using proper procedures to avoid the risk of laboratory-acquired infection or sample-to-sample contamination. Maintains and cleans equipment and the facility; maintains and restocks supplies; and maintains computer database. Works under direct supervision. Attention to detail is essential while dealing with multiple tasks. Flexibility is important in adjusting to frequent changes in work volume. (011380)
Qualifications
Requires a high school diploma or GED. Coursework in mathematics and relevant sciences. Must have previous work experience that demonstrates organizational skills attention to detail and ability to multi-task. Requires manual dexterity accurate typing and good communication skills. Must be able to prioritize and adjust to changes in work volume. Experience with Excel software is preferred.
Visa sponsorship is not available for this position including F1 OPT STEM. Must be a U.S. citizen permanent resident refugee or asylee.
