Role Overview The Field Sales Representative is responsible for managing and growing a defined territory of dental practice customers by developing strong relationships expanding existing accounts and acquiring new business. This role requires regular consultative engagement with every account in the territory to grow sales of dental merchandise equipment and services while maintaining a strong focus on identifying and onboarding new customers. Successful candidates are self-motivated relationship-driven sales professionals who enjoy working independently managing their territory with an entrepreneurial mindset and representing a trusted brand within the dental industry. Key Responsibilities Territory Management - Manage and develop a defined territory of dental practices in the Kansas City MO metro area
- Build strong relationships with dentists office managers and clinical staff
- Plan and execute territory growth strategies to increase market share
Sales Growth - Expand existing accounts by identifying opportunities to provide additional products services and solutions
- Identify prospect and convert new dental practices into Goetze Dental customers
- Deliver consultative sales presentations that help practices improve efficiency and patient care
Customer Partnership - Conduct regular in-person visits with assigned accounts
- Respond promptly to customer questions and concerns
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure excellent service and problem resolution
Industry Engagement - Attend dental conventions seminars and industry events
- Participate in ongoing sales and product training programs
- Stay informed about industry trends technologies and customer needs
Professional Development - Maintain a high level of professionalism integrity and accountability
- Continuously develop product knowledge sales skills and business acumen
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent sales experience
- 2 years of outside B2B sales experience
- Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Ability to manage a territory independently and prioritize opportunities effectively
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory
- Must reside in or near the Kansas City metro area
Preferred Qualifications - Experience selling into dental practices or healthcare providers
- Background in dental distribution medical device sales or healthcare products
- Experience using CRM systems and sales analytics tools
