Job Summary

The Conservatory for the Performing Arts at Viterbo University invites applications for adjunct teaching positions across a range of disciplines in theatre music and dance. Adjunct instructors are hired on a semester-by-semester basis to support instruction in applied studio classroom or ensemble settings.

Primary Responsibilities May Include:

  • Teaching undergraduate courses in Conservatory programs (BFA Musical Theatre BFA Acting BA Music BM Music etc.)
  • Providing individualized instruction in applied or performance-based disciplines
  • Supporting student development and learning in alignment with Conservatory curriculum and goals
  • Collaborating with faculty and staff to ensure an excellent student experience

Qualifications:

  • A terminal degree (MM MFA DMA PhD) in the relevant field is preferred
  • A bachelors degree with substantial professional and/or teaching experience may be considered
  • Prior college-level teaching experience and/or professional work in the field is highly valued
