The Village is looking to fill seasonal laborer positions within the Department of Public Works beginning in May and ending in late August.

Working hours will be 6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Monday thru Friday. Forty (40) hours per week is expected but not guaranteed. Compensation will be $16.00 per hour depending on years of service and experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The position will be responsible for assisting Public Works Department personnel in the performance of general tasks which include but are not limited to: yard waste/brush/refuse/recycling collection flower bed planting/weeding/watering shrub bed hedging/weeding & mulching park building cleaning landscape trimming litter pick up at parks and Village owned green spaces and other general tasks.

Qualifications

The successful candidates must be 18 years of age or older; possess a valid Wisconsin Drivers License; be dependable; on time and be able to perform routine physical labor tasks including repetitious lifting of containers/bags up to 60 pounds.
