KAIĀRAHI

6Month Fixed Term

Support tangata returning from overseas or prison with:

  • Accommodation & stability
  • Education & training goals
  • Family reconnection
  • System navigation
  • Cultural reconnection grounded in Tikanga & Te Ao Māori

Youll bring:

  • Level 4 qualification (or relevant skills)
  • Strong communication & prosocial approach
  • Confidence in Te Ao Māori
  • Attention to detail & computer skills
  • Ability to work independently & in a team
  • Full NZ driver licence

Desirable: experience in Reintegration Corrections Justice or Māori/Pasifika communities.

KAIĀWHINA

Casual Pool Overnight Weekends & cover forWeekdays

Be a steady presence in our whare creating a safe positive environment for tangata to thrive.

Youll:

  • Model positive behaviour
  • Support daily whare routines
  • Uphold kawa & facilitate whakatau
  • Respond to incidents professionally
  • Stay onsite (10pm6am sleepover shift)

Youll bring:

  • Empathy & nonjudgmental approach
  • Experience working with atrisk individuals
  • Life experience & maturity
  • Level 4 qualification or willingness to study

Hours: varied depending on the cover required but generally evenings (sleep shifts)
