POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Associate with hands-on expertise in scanning and labeling operations. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Mandarin) highly organized detail-oriented and committed to maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accurately scan incoming and outgoing inventory using handheld or fixed scanners
- Apply labels to products pallets and shipments in accordance with company standards
- Verify product quantities and item descriptions against shipping and receiving documentation
- Maintain clean and organized workspace and label/scanning stations
- Report discrepancies damaged goods or mislabeled items to supervisor immediately
- Assist with receiving sorting and staging freight as needed
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity and accuracy targets
- Follow all warehouse safety protocols and procedures
- Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish as required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience in a scanning or labeling role
- Proficiency with handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to stand walk and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods
- Bilingual English/Spanish (spoken and/or written)
- Reliable punctual and team-oriented work ethic
- Ability to work in varying warehouse conditions (temperature noise)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with RF scanning devices and label printing systems
- Familiarity with inventory control procedures
- Prior experience in logistics distribution or supply chain environments
- Basic computer skills (data entry email)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repetitively
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per shift
- Bending reaching and stooping required
- Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Competitive hourly pay based on experience. Benefits become available after the successful completion of the 90-day probationary period including health insurance paid time off and a pay increase.
