Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format):
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Required to present US passport or birth certificate with raised seal and background check results on day one.
- Must pass client-specific background screening per guidelines.
- Must follow onboarding and badging process as detailed in provided documentation.
- Initial training on 1st shift for 1 week (Mon-Fri 8am-4pm; paid lunch).
- Multiple shifts available:
- 1st shift: Sun-Thurs 7:30am-4pm
- 2nd shift: Tues-Sat 2:30pm-11pm
- 3rd shift: Sun-Thurs 10pm-6:30am
- Pay rates vary by shift ($17.40 $18.30/hr).
- Temp-to-hire position.
- Will often be the sole Vallen employee on shift.
- Responsible for issuing parts and materials and assisting with inventory management.
- Must be able to read and understand written instructions and perform basic math.
- Will use pallet jack and hand truck for material handling.
- Computer proficiency required; job involves data entry into multiple programs (SAP experience is a plus).
- May use a handheld scanner.
- Strong customer service skills needed; position is customer-facing.
- Must be able to stand and walk 1-2 miles per day throughout the shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Dress code: jeans or durable pants t-shirt or polo (no shorts rips vulgar/suggestive language).
- Steel toe shoes required.
