Job Summary

The Interventional Radiologic Technologist is responsible for circulating and scrubbing roles during procedures procedure documentation patient education and assisting with patient care.

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm out of our Edina location.

Vascular and Interventional Experts is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health) a group of local medical practices owned and led by its physicians on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Functions:

Demonstrates knowledge of radiological equipment & safety shielding techniques imaging skills and equipment trouble-shooting skills analyzing and recording equipment and other equipment utilized in the IR department.
Circulate and scrub during procedures patient education assisting with patient care within scope of practice and inventory management.
Able to identify adverse events or unanticipated outcomes using critical thinking skills and notifies the medical staff including nurses and physicians appropriately
Practice Radiation Safety in accordance with regulations. Selects accurate technical factors on an individual patient basis
Request medical records and imaging from other sites
Assist VIE Provider with accurate data collection documentation and data entry for compliance
Analyze and assist in resolving problems resulting in improvement of patient care practice and system operations.
Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:

Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology Program
RT(VI) RT(CV) or RT(CT) preferred. Willing to cross-train
Experience as an interventional technologist preferred
BLS required

Working Conditions:

Frequentlyâlift up to 50 pounds independently and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Requires the ability to stand walk bend and move continuously throughout the shift.
Must be able to frequently perform physical activities such as pushing pulling and reaching.
Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents.
Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly.
Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g. computer phone printer).
