About the Role
Reporting directly to the CFO the Bookkeeper will oversee the companys day-to-day accounting processes including reconciliations payroll processing financial reporting support and maintaining organized and accurate financial records. This role plays a key part in ensuring financial clarity and operational efficiency across the organization.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger entries
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure financial accuracy
- Process payroll and maintain payroll records to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Assist with financial reporting budgeting and forecasting to support leadership decision-making
- Maintain and organize financial records in compliance with company policies and regulations
- Generate invoices track payments and follow up on outstanding balances
- Handle month-end reconciliations and close processes
- Communicate with and assist field managers on financial and budget matters
- Work closely with leadership to improve financial processes and increase efficiency
Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QuickBooks certification or equivalent experience required)
- Strong experience with financial reconciliation and financial reporting
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
Minimum Required Experience and Education
- 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Experience in service construction or landscaping industries preferred.
- Proficiency with technology including Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
