In this Industrial Estimator role you will review customer drawings specifications and RFQs to develop cost estimates for custom machinery and automation equipment. You will work closely with engineering sales and production teams to define project scope determine pricing and prepare proposals for industrial equipment projects.

This position is a DIRECT HIRE role that is a long-term need for my client. This role must be worked ON-SITE.

Qualifications

5 years of experience estimating custom machinery industrial equipment automation systems or fabricated machinery
Strong understanding of fabrication processes including welding machining forming and mechanical assembly
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings P&IDs and electrical/control schematics
Experience estimating material costs including steel stainless steel purchased components and subcontracted services
Experience working with automation components such as PLCs HMIs sensors motors drives and instrumentation
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating or ERP software
Experience working in a manufacturing fabrication or OEM equipment environment
