THE ROLE
The successful candidate will lead on the delivery of forensic investigations as well as playing an important part in developing S-RMsDigital Forensicsteam. They will bring in-depth technicalexpertise client management and communication skillsto effectively deliver complex projects to multinational corporate and private clients.
The key areas of responsibility will be:
Technical forensic acquisition and analysis
- Perform forensic preservation of digital evidencein accordance withbest practice and recognised standardsmaintainingchain of custody and contemporaneous record keeping.
- Conduct in-depth forensic analysis across a wide range of digital sources; including but not limited to Windows and MacOS computers iOS and Android mobile devicesenterpriseand personal cloud platforms andproprietoryapplications.
Clientand projectmanagement
- Act as the leadonforensic investigations from scoping through to delivery including defining deliverablesforensicmethodologies timelines budgets and resource requirements.
- Manage client relationships including scoping engagements setting expectations communicating findings and presenting conclusions to board-level executives and legal counsel.
- Deliver clear concise and defensible findings through high-quality written reports and verbal briefings including responding toquestionsfrom senior stakeholders.
Additionalresponsibilities depending on experience may include:
- Research and testing:Conduct in-depth research and testing ofnew technologiesdevicesand platforms as part of investigations that arebespoke in nature and involve novel technologies.
- Practice development:Develop and document processes for preserving and analysing evidence from new sources to ensure the team is kept up to date on the latest capabilities.
- Mentoring: Manage junior colleagues and uphold quality standards across the team.

Werelooking for:
Experience and background
- A minimum of 3 years professional experience ideallyservicing private sector clients in forensic and intelligence consulting or technical investigations.
- This requirement is a guideultimatelywe are looking fornotableexperience in this industry please feel free to apply if you have close to or significantly more experience than is listed.
- ABachelorsdegree in a relevant discipline from an accredited university. Relevant disciplines include any STEM or other analytical subjects.
- Demonstrable experienceconducting forensic analysis andmanaging clientcommunications including scoping casesupdatingclients and delivering complex analysis under tight deadlines.
- Experience supporting litigation regulatory and/or internal investigations including interaction with legal counsel and external senior stakeholders.
- Experiencewritingforensic reports including methodologies technical findings and conclusions.

Technical and investigative capability
- Familiarity with digital forensics techniques including but not limited to:
- Forensic preservation methodologies including the ACPO guidelines chain of custody and contemporaneous record keeping;
- Windowsand MacOS forensic acquisition and analysis;
- iOS and Android forensic acquisition and analysis;
- Third-party applications such as WhatsApp Telegram Signal;
- Cloud hosted environments such as iCloud Google and social media platforms.
- Familiarity with digital forensics analysis tools including Cellebrite Oxygen AXIOM X-Ways FTK etc.
- Experience conducting investigations involvingcorporateenvironments (e.g. Microsoft 365 Google Workspace AWS).
- Experience conducting forensic analysis and leading the technical investigation for casesincluding:
- Intellectual property theft;
- Fraudandother financial crime;
- Defamation and reputation damage;
- Employee misconductand workplace investigations;
Allcandidatesmust have permission to work intheUKby the start of their employment.
