Quality Engineer (all genders)

TASKS

Support the implementation and maintenance of the companys Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and aviation regulations ANAC/EASA/FAA Part 145 and USA-Brasil BASA.
Support compliance with ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 requirements by participating in audits monitoring legal obligations and assisting in implementation of risk controls.
Assist in developing updating and controlling internal procedures work instructions and standard practices.
Maintain staff qualification records that support authorization for performing and certifying maintenance tasks (as applicable to Part 145).
Perform internal audits process audits and participate in regulatory audits ensuring timely closure of findings and corrective actions.
Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and local licensing requirements including the handling of waste effluents and hazardous materials (e.g. CETESB requirements).
Execute root-cause analysis (RCA) using structured methods (8D Ishikawa 5 Whys FMEA ).
Lead and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) monitoring effectiveness and timely implementation.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Lean Six Sigma and operational excellence methodologies.
Collaborate on safety assessments hazard identification incident reporting and follow-up actions.
Analyze quality/safety metrics KPIs nonconformities and audit results to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Assist in delivering training on quality environmental safety and regulatory topics as required.
Provide support to operations maintenance procurement logistics and engineering teams regarding quality standards and requirements.
Promote a culture of safety environmental responsibility and operational discipline throughout the organization.

YOUR PROFILE

Technical or Bachelors degree in Engineering Quality Management Aerospace Technology or related disciplines.
Experience working with Quality Management Systems and regulatory frameworks (preferably in aviation or manufacturing).
Knowledge of ISO 9001 environmental and safety systems (ISO 14001 ISO 45001).
Familiarity with ANAC EASA and FAA Part 145 USA-Brasil BASA and other regulatory requirements applicable to maintenance organizations.
Experience with audit activities documentation control and problem-solving tools.
Proficiency in English (written and spoken) including the ability to interpret technical documentation communicate with international suppliers/customers and participate in audits or regulatory interactions.
