Position Purpose:
- Assisting the finance team/ ground teams in the day-to-day working requirements
- Interaction with Local & Corporate office
- Finding improvement in the existing process of gathering information.
- Coordinate with other Functions in the Company for Data Collection Improvement in existing Controls Processes Integration & Implementation of the same.
Job Specification:
- Monthly scrutiny of Trial Balance
- Monthly closing of books of accounts for preparing the Profit and Loss accounts and Balance sheet
- Manage monthly closing process including various accounts reconciliations and analysis of related accounts
- Manage the preparation and distribution of internal financial statements and reports maintain the highest quality reliability and accuracy
- Daily coordination with various functions and field team in resolving and managing day in day transactions and their resolution in case of any queries
- Managing finance team who will be direct reporting
- Inventory Management & reconciliation
- Coordination with Corporate team on Controls/ Audits
- Develop and maintain the integrity of the financial reporting process and financial controls
- Coordinate develop and update written policies and procedures over the financial reporting process
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls related to financial reporting
- Working with the Statutory auditors and getting queries close up to the balance sheet finalization
Educational Qualifications:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant. MBA Finance may also be considered
- Work Experience of min. 7-8 years in the Retail industry preferably in medical line
- Working Experience accounting software in ZOHO/ 9 is a preference
Skillset Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of: Accounting standards Tax Laws: Direct and Indirect (GST)
- Must be very good with Microsoft Office applications especially in MS Excel & Power point presentation
- Ability to adapt to changes and work effectively under pressure with minimum supervision
- Self-motivated and has a positive mental attitude
- Experience in dealing with management and external authorities
- Ability to deal with cross functional teams
- Good interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral
- A strong sense of personal responsibility.
