About The Role
Thrive Blacktown is our newest centre and we are very excited to be looking for an experienced cook to nourish our children (up to 48 per day).
needs a cook to run the kitchen and cater for up to 48 children per day.
This role offers part-time hours working 6 hours per day (8:30am 3pm negotiable) Monday to Friday.
As the centre cook you will menu plan order supplies collaborate with families and educators for new meal ideas and oversee the day to day duties within the kitchen.
To be considered for this amazing opportunity you will be required to have the following:
- Food Handling Certificate or Certificate in Commercial Cookery
- A current NSW Employee Working With Children Check (or be willing to obtain)
- A passion to work with children and work in a collaborative environment
- Good communication skills and an ability to build relationships with children and families
