We are now delivering routine maintenance and defect rectification works and refurbishment and upgrade projects under a major long-term contract with the Victorian Government (Metropolitan Victorian Road Maintenance Contract (VRMC) - South Central Region).

We have opportunities forRoad Maintenance Worker (Full-Time - Nightshift) to join our team in permanent roles based out of our Clayton and Frankston depots! Working under the direction of our Supervisors in crews of 2-4 people you will be critical in delivering services under this contract.

Key responsibilities:

• Performing rapid response to incidents and emergencies across the network.
• Carrying out scheduled routine servicing and hazard and defect rectification works for pavements (Flocon) bridges and other structural assets and all roadside assets (barriers signage vegetation).
• Completing all works with a strong focus on safety quality and efficiency.
• Recording works-related data in the field in line with work instructions ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Participating in daily pre-start and shift-close meetings contributing ideas for changes and improvements in work practices to enhance safety and efficiency.

About you

• Experience working as part of a crew maintaining pavements bridges and other structural assets and/or roadside assets (barriers signage vegetation).
• TMA experience preferred but not essential.
• Road safety barrier (Guard Rail/WRSB) preferred.
• Flocon operator/experience preferred
• Ability to be a committed team player who drives for service excellence and continuous improvement.
• A track record of working with a relentless focus on worker road user and community safety.
• High levels of self-motivation exceptional time-management skills and a proven ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Sound digital and data management skills including familiarity with field applications for works management.
• Formal qualifications (Cert III or higher) in civil construction are a bonus but not essential if you can demonstrate equivalent knowledge and capability.
