The Opportunity: General Manager

As the company continues expanding across multiple markets it is seeking operational leaders who can drive performance lead teams and scale service operations.
Position Overview:
The General Manager will lead operations for a residential service business in Connecticut. This role carries full P&L ownership and is responsible for driving operational performance revenue growth and team leadership across both field and office staff.
The ideal candidate will be a strong operator with experience leading field-service teams and improving business performance within a growing organization.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead daily operations of a residential service business
- Maintain full P&L responsibility and drive financial performance
- Oversee field teams service operations and customer experience
- Implement operational processes and performance metrics
- Recruit develop and lead managers technicians and office staff
- Strengthen company culture and communication across teams
- Partner with executive leadership to support business growth
Key Qualifications and Skills
- Experience leading a P&L-driven business or operational unit
- Background in field services construction mechanical services or similar industries
- Experience managing technicians tradespeople or field teams
- Strong leadership operational and people management skills
- Ability to drive accountability performance and operational improvement
Experience Level
- 7 years of leadership experience in operations branch management or general management
- Experience leading service-based or field operations teams
- HVAC plumbing construction mechanical services or similar industry experience preferred
Compensation
- Base Salary: $200000
- Performance-based incentive plan
- Comprehensive benefits package
