Job Summary
Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Specialist
A specialty and emergency veterinary hospital is seeking aCritical Care Veterinarianto join its collaborative emergency and critical care team. This role offers the opportunity to provide advanced critical care medicine in a modern facility while working alongside experienced emergency clinicians and specialists.
Responsibilities
Provide critical care and intensive treatment for hospitalized and emergency patients
Perform advanced diagnostics and develop treatment plans for critically ill animals
Manage ICU cases and oversee patient monitoring and stabilization
Collaborate with emergency veterinarians specialists and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding treatment options and patient progress
Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university
Board-certified or residency-trained in veterinary critical care
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in emergency and critical care medicine
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous learning
