In this Laser Programmer role you will be responsible for creating and optimizing programs for CO2 and Fiber laser cutting machines using CAD/CAM software. You will work closely with the sheet metal fabrication team to convert customer drawings and part files into efficient laser programs ensuring optimal material utilization and cutting performance. .

This position is a DIRECT HIRE role that is a long-term need for my client. This role must be worked ON-SITE.

Qualifications

3 years of experience in CNC programming specifically for CO2 or Fiber laser cutting systems
Experience creating and nesting laser programs using CAD/CAM software such as AutoCAD SolidWorks BySoft CAD or BySoft CAM
Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and laser cutting operations
Experience working with materials such as aluminum stainless steel and carbon steel
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify programming errors before production begins
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 3 years of experience operating or programming laser cutting machines
