As the company enters a phase of aggressive international growth and continued M&A activity we are seeking a seat-at-the-table CFO who can act as a strategic partner to the CEO. This is a high-impact role within a PE backed portfolio company that requires a blend of sophisticated financial leadership and a sleeves-up approach to complex data and systems. Job Duties & Responsibilities
Serve as a primary strategic advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors providing financial insights that drive operational and strategic decision-making.
Lead the preparation and presentation of monthly board decks and financial reporting packages for the Private Equity sponsors
Direct all M&A activities specifically leading the financial due diligence process for an active pipeline of acquisition targets.
Manage the complex global consolidation process across 10 entities
Drive the implementation of a sophisticated Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle and a new enterprise-wide consolidation tool within the next 6 months.
Own the forecasting process including the reforecast identifying gaps and implementing value-added improvements to modeling accuracy.
Bridge the FP&A gap within the organization by personally managing granular high-volume data sets to derive actionable insights.
Partner with the CIO on systems data flow ensuring seamless integration between NetSuite & Adaptive Planning.
Collaborate with CEO COO and President to create and iterate on a 5-year strategic plan utilizing discounted cash flow (DCF) models for R&D project prioritization.
Lead the relationship with external auditors (Deloitte) and tax/advisory partners (Baker Tilly) to ensure smooth year-end audits and purchase price accounting.
Conduct deep-dive analysis into vendor margins and customer pricing strategies to identify opportunities for price correction on the sales side.
Manage treasury and cash flow activities for a $200M revenue business ensuring optimized working capital across all global divisions.
Foster a Work Hard/Play Hard culture that emphasizes transparency accountability and professional development across the finance organization.
Experience Needed
Prior CFO Experience: Proven track record as a Chief Financial Officer within a mid-market manufacturing environment.
Private Equity Pedigree: Extensive experience working within a PE-backed environment specifically reporting to sponsors and managing debt/covenants.
Advanced Technical Skills: Expert-level Excel proficiency is a non-negotiable; you must be comfortable building complex models from scratch.
Consolidations & M&A: Direct experience managing multi-entity consolidations and leading financial integration for acquisitions.
Educational Foundation: Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting; 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience.
Aerospace Background: Highly preferred as much of the current executive leadership team stems from the Aerospace industry.
Public Accounting: Foundation in a Big 4 or Top-Tier national firm (e.g. Moss Adams GT PwC) is a significant plus.
International Operations: Familiarity with foreign currency translation
