Job Summary

SRS Distribution Inc. seeks a Senior Field Auditor responsible for supporting the Field Audit Program (FA). FA conducts field audits to support management in evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting and key operating controls. These audits include inquiries walkthroughs reviews and testing designed to confirm that transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies that key operational processes function as intended and that company assets are appropriately safeguarded. Audit results are intended to provide management with insight into control effectiveness and to identify opportunities for improvement where applicable.

This position requires experience in the various verticals in which SRS operates as well as skills in designing and implementing effective controls for core business processes and transaction cycles (procurement order fulfillment cash etc.) within a rapidly expanding dynamic multilocation environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently (or in small teams) conducts audits which are operational compliance and financial in nature with a strong focus on the Companys branch locations.
  • Conducts interviews reviews documents and prepares audit workpapers in a professional manner.
  • Professionally communicates (verbal/written) results of audits drafts clear and relevant findings audit reports presentations and other material to all levels of management.
  • Follows up on outstanding audit findings to ensure proper resolution.
  • Maintains a professional and independent image of FA across the Company
  • Assists with special projects requested by management.
  • Implement tools which leverage technology to gain efficiencies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with management across all levels of the Company.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Company operational practices
  • Approximately 2 years (or more) experience as an Assistant Branch Manager or similar
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication and research skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office products especially Excel and Word.
  • Personable organized & attention to detail are all traits that are a must.
  • Ability to adjust to a more structured and project-management based environment is critical to success.
  • Must demonstrate that you can work in a hands-on team driven environment
  • Travel expectations will average 35-50% all domestic.
