Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Community Education Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for diverse groups of learners. As an instructor you will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging educational programs that meet the needs of the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement educational curriculum tailored to community interests and needs.
- Facilitate classes and workshops in a variety of subjects (e.g. arts technology health etc.).
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with community partners to promote educational opportunities. Qualifications:
- Previous teaching or instructional experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate diverse groups of learners.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles is a plus.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience in senior fitness or group exercise instruction.
- Ability to work on an as-needed basis.
