How Youll Contribute

As a registered nurse you will be responsible for delivery of patient care in the Behavioral Health Department through the nursing process of interview assessment planning implementation evaluation and triage.
The psychiatric mental health nurse will demonstrate the scope of practice as recognized by The American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA) for Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse: Psychiatric-mental health (PMH) nursing promotes integrated and comprehensive health and wellness through prevention and education as well as assessment diagnosis care and treatment of the full range of psychiatric-mental health disorders across the life span. Psychiatric nurses practice transpersonal caring to promote the health and healing of humanity. We are a level I inpatient adult psychiatric facility with 19 beds.

What were looking for:
Applicants should have a current Arizona or compact state RN license and possess an associates degree from an accredited nursing school.
Additional requirements include:
- Associates Degree in Nursing required Bachelors or Masters Degree preferred.
- Must have an active Arizona or Compact RN License.
- CPR and Handle with Care certifications are required within 90 days of hire.
- One year of experience in a behavioral health setting preferred.
