Job Summary

JOB OVERVIEW

The Director of Cricket will work alongside the Director of Sport to provide first-class coaching to pupils encouraging them to gain and develop skills knowledge and techniques.

Cricket is a flagship sport at Kent College for both boys and girls and the Director of Cricket will lead plan and deliver a high-quality cricket programme across the School. The role will work closely with the Director of Sport and wider coaching team to shape the strategic development of cricket strengthen provision across all age groups and throughout the year.

The Director of Cricket will also be expected to build strong relationships with local clubs and cricketing pathways contribute to the Schools wider outreach and partnership work and promote cricket within the wider addition the postholder will inspire ambition and success at every level of the game while supporting the recruitment and development of talented young cricketers within the Kent College community.

It is essential that the successful candidate has experience of teaching another academic subject enabling them to make a full and wider contribution to the educational life of Kent College.

The Senior School (11 18 years) has some 600 boys and girls approximately one-third boarding and two-thirds day. THE POSITION

The role is 40 hours per week term time (35 weeks per year) plus 3 weeks.
