Purpose

Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and oversee all site sampling and testing activities including ownership of daily sampling plans coordination and execution of sampling tasks and accurate logging and submission of tests through laboratory portals and order systems.
  • Monitor customer-specific testing requirements issuing schedules where required and ensuring full control and visibility of the sampling programme.
  • Review and assess all external laboratory results for compliance against specifications ensuring timely communication of findings to relevant stakeholders and escalating any OOS (Out of Specification) results to the Head of Quality.
  • Validate and maintain the sampling methodology ensuring all sampling processes align with customer protocols and that any amendments are correctly implemented.
  • Verify hygiene task times against the hygiene rota supporting the Quality Management Team by recommending and implementing necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy.
  • Maintain systemised schedules for compliance reviews including production paperwork checks IPC/AQL inspections and the generation of regular reports such as CAPA updates.
  • Monitor and control the corrective action board ensuring actions are completed accurately effectively and within required timeframes.
  • Issue and maintain verification schedules to ensure CAPA followup activities are completed and validated for effectiveness with the relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop plan and support customerspecific inspection requirements during production (e.g. Vitabright UKAZ etc.) ensuring full QA inspection coverage appropriate resource allocation and timely escalation of issues. This includes realtime reporting of inspection results the urgency surrounding the initiation of corrective actions and proactive communication to ensure all customer targets KPIs and quality are consistently achieved.
  • Issue QAS regarding any quality concerns or known product quality issues when required or requested by departments or customers.
  • Champion a strong customer focus within the Quality function for our strategic customers ensuring all quality activities decisions and improvements support customer expectations resolve customer concerns promptly and reinforce confidence in product safety legality and quality. To support and where needed substitute for the quality management on customer calls.
  • Project manage quality-related initiatives across the site providing clear goals progress updates and action plans to the Head of Quality and relevant teams.
  • Continuously review and improve quality processes ensuring the department drives ongoing improvement and operational excellence.
  • Lead the digitalisation of quality documentation performing regular audits to ensure compliance with thirdparty standards and INW Bee Health requirements.
  • Provide support and cover for the Quality Administrator including prioritising customer documentation requests and supplying supporting information as needed.
  • Champion training and development within the Quality Team supporting the Quality Management Team on training needs and capability development.
  • Monitor system data and proactively manage and report on key KPIs ensuring metrics such as time to pass product and closure of works orders remain on target and escalation of those that are at risk.
  • Trend concessions and deviations collaborating with Technical Operations to improve processes and reduce the volume of concessions and deviations.
  • Ensure all products and processes comply with established thirdparty and INW Bee Health standards at all stages of production.
  • Provide flexibility to support additional Quality Department tasks as required to maintain operational continuity.
  • Monitor track and drive the completion of all agreed corrective actions for held product across the site ensuring actions are progressed promptly and fully resolved within required timeframes. Weekly progress must be reported tracked and reviewed to ensure that all tasks actions and project deliverables remain on schedule. Where delays repeated slippage or indicators of poor management are identified an escalation to the relevant management teams is required. Escalation must occur promptly and be supported by documented evidence of missed deadlines outstanding actions or risks impacting completion.
  • Trend and analyse all product hold references identifying recurring issues escalating repeat themes and proactively following up with relevant stakeholders to ensure thorough review and effective corrective actions.

Improvement Responsibilities

  • As a member of the DFM systems team advise and assist the business with actions and initiatives to improve the companies systems and processes.
  • Advise and assist the business on actions and initiatives that reduce customer complaints and support continuous improvement.
  • Advise and assist the business on actions and initiatives the reduction in the time it takes to resolve customer queries and testing delays.
  • Advise and assist in supporting the achievement of OTIF for products with testing requirements and positive release.
  • Advise and assist the business on actions and initiatives that deliver manufacturing excellence through the suggestion of and tracking of corrective actions through management of on hold manufacturing non-conformance data.
  • Advise and assist the business on actions and initiatives to improve the quality culture.
  • Assist the team with actions and initiatives to improve all quality related KPIs.

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties. You will be required to undertake any other reasonable duties in line with the purpose of the role. INW Bee Health is a manufacturing environment with production demands and the need for immediate reaction. There are multiple workloads for this role with very time specific deadlines. The ability to work under pressure prioritise your workloads to suit the needs of the business.
