The pricing team will drive profitable sustainable growth by owning and optimizing GetYourGuides global pricing strategy establishing a data-driven framework for pricing and commission decisions ensuring highly competitive positioning and balancing the core objectives of operator partnership customer acquisition and margin health. We will transform pricing from a function into a powerful strategic asset that defines our market leadership.
About the role
As a Senior Business Operations & Strategy Manager Pricing Strategy you will drive the development and execution of pricing & commission strategy for our global marketplace. You will build and refine frameworks processes and analytical foundations that enable data-driven revenue-maximizing pricing decisions and establish scalable pricing and revenue management practices that deliver optimal value for both suppliers and customers.
Your mission
- Drive our commercial pricing strategy together with the Head of Pricing translating company growth objectives into actionable pricing levers and initiatives.
- Design and ongoing improvement of commission structures discount programs and incentive models to ensure supplier success aligns with marketplace goals.
- Gather analyze and act on competitive pricing insights ensuring strong up-to-date market coverage across regions and categories.
- Work with data scientists and analysts product managers and commercial leadership to develop construct and deploy machine learning solutions and connect commercial requirements with pricing platforms and tooling enhancements.
- Build and maintain frameworks and playbooks for fair and competitive pricing that foster customer trust and productive supplier relationships.
- Act as a key commercial representative for pricing providing actionable insights and engaging with senior stakeholders to influence decisions.
Your toolkit
- 4 years experience in Strategy Business Operations Revenue Management Analytics or Pricing roles; experience in a fast-paced tech marketplace or SaaS setting highly preferred.
- Deep understanding and experience of pricing strategy optimization and revenue management methods in the context of marketplace dynamics
- Proven ability to design scale and improve operational pricing processes.
- High analytical acumen and skillset; expert at translating commercial and pricing data into actionable strategy (SQL Looker PowerBI Tableau or similar).
- Stellar communicator able to influence and align diverse global stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial self-driven and capable of thriving in high-ambiguity environments.
- Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
