As the Operations Intern you will work closely with the Quality Manufacturing and Operations departments with activities and projects focused on the organizations goals for 2026. The primary focus will be on creating data collection systems and reporting to provide management detailed information about current shop floor status associate & product performance as well as coordinating information for improved scheduling and Non-conformance tracking and reporting.

We are looking for an intern that is in the Business management or engineering track who has high degree of skill in statistics and some understanding of the application of statistics and data collection and analysis in a real world manufacturing environment.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reviewing manufacturing data in order to develop updated Manufacturing Standard Times and developing data collection reporting and visualization of data for daily hour/hour Shop Floor metrics and management dashboards to improve capacity planning schedule attainment and data transparency to shop floor employees.
  • Development of an NCR (Non-Conformance Reporting) data collection management and reporting system to simplify data collection analysis and reporting .
  • Participation in kaizen events as time permits.

Required Qualifications
  • Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a Business Management Engineering or Computer Science/Analytics degree
  • Having a self-starting behavior

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to walk talk and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand sit and use hands to finger handle or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
