We are seeking to recruit a Cloud Migration Engineer to join our team in Cairo. Thesuccessful candidate will have more than 6 years of hands-on experience in cloud and
infrastructure engineering with a strong focus on migrating servers databases and
applications to modern cloud environments.
You will support client transformation programs across the global network of PwC
collaborating with teams in the UK Germany and the Middle East.
This role involves executing cloud migration projects across major cloud providers such as
Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure applying best practices to ensure
performance security and operational excellence throughout the migration lifecycle.
Execute cloud migrations for servers databases and applications
Perform lift-and-shift re-platforming and selective modernization
Use migration tools and scripts to move workloads
Validate migrated workloads for performance security and reliability
Troubleshoot migration issues and optimize post-migration systems
Document migration steps and outcomes
Work closely with application and platform teams
Required Skills & Experience:
36 years in cloud or infrastructure engineering
Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure
Migration tools: Azure Migrate AWS DMS CloudEndure
Windows and Linux administration
Networking and hybrid connectivity (VPNs VNET/VPC routing)
Scripting: PowerShell Bash or Python
Experience migrating enterprise applications or databases
Exposure to cloud-native modernization projects
Required Skills & Experience
36 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or systems
administration roles.
Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider:
o Microsoft Azure
o Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Practical experience with cloud migration tools including:
o Azure Migrate
o AWS Database Migration Service (DMS)
o CloudEndure
Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux system administration.
