Job Description
As a Security Officer - EMT Driver Patrol in North Haven CT you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff patients and visitors by following site-specific procedures and security-related protocols including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of corridors entrances parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns for reporting.
- Monitor access points and check credentials as required assisting with visitor directions and supporting controlled entry to restricted healthcare areas in line with site policies.
- Respond to incidents alarms and requests for assistance in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site leadership and public responders as needed.
- Complete security-related reports and logs including patrol activity incidents and unusual observations and communicate timely updates to supervisors and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- EMT Certification is required.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
