The Graduate Schools Computing and Information Resources (CAIR) Division has an outstanding opportunity for a Software Engineer to join the team.
About this Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager of Software Engineering Tom Quinlivan the Software Engineer is responsible for creating and maintaining the enterprise systems that power every stage of graduate educationfrom application to degree completion. Your work will shape how thousands of students faculty and staff experience UW enabling a seamless data-driven environment that supports academic excellence and equitable access to education across all three campuses. This is an opportunity to bring your engineering skills and creativity to a mission-driven team that believes in the transformative power of graduate education.
This position is based at the University of Washington Seattle campus and is eligible for fully remote work.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Enterprise Application Development & Systems Engineering (60%)
Systems Analysis Project Leadership & Technical Direction (25%)
Operational Support & Institutional Engagement (15%)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements such as a license/certification/registration.
