Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Unit in Seattle WA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. Join Allied Universal at a financial institution location as an armed patrol officer helping maintain a welcoming environment through high-visibility rounds and thoughtful presence. You will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols document observations and respond to incidents with calm professional communication. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by following Allied Universal procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Carry and maintain assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with licensing requirements post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas exterior grounds and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Respond to alarms disturbances and/or critical incidents in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site leadership and/or public responders when appropriate.
- Complete security-related reports incident documentation and daily activity logs and communicate relevant observations to supervision and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
- Have 1 years law enforcement experience or 2 years security supervisor/manager experience or 3 years security experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
