As an Engineer-Security you will Protect Companys People Assets and Intellectual Property. You will typically perform one or more of the following roles in capacity of either an individual contributor (as directed and/or independently) or as a manager:
Key Responsibilities
- Develops and deploys Security Measures and Timely and Accurate Intelligence
- Empowers risk-based and collaborative decisions in support of current and future business opportunities and operations
- Protects the organizations employees properties and all items of value on premises from any preventable harm or danger
- Develop security policies and procedures that comply with government guidelines and standards
- conduct investigations to protect organization assets
- Responds to contingency events including bomb threats sabotage and severe weather conditions through on-site security forces or with the assistance of government law enforcement agencies
- Recommends hiring of outside security contractors as necessary and may oversee contract guard force
Other Responsibilities
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental Health Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in engineering or related disciplines.
- Around 4 years of experience in handling security matters in an industrial set up
- Strong understanding of Government regulations on Safety and Security
- Proven ability to design and deploy effective security policies
- High end skills of responding to situations that need immediate attention onsite
