Job Summary

Bishop Ireton High School is seeking a full-timeEnglishteacher for the 2026-2027 school year at our campus in Alexandria Virginia. Candidates should be able to teach aliterature-based curriculum with a strong emphasis on developing writing and research skills.

Candidates will:

demonstrateprofessionalism in a collaborative environment.
havestrong communication skills.
possessa bachelors degreein English; masters degree preferred.
possess or be willing to obtain a Virginia teaching license or VCEA license
possess required citizenship residency or work visa
