Job Summary
Job Title: MS Track Girls Assistant Coach
Job Site: Kokomo Middle Schools
Responsibilities:
The Middle School Assistant Girls Track Coach supports the head coach in developing student-athletes both athletically and personally. Responsibilities include assisting with daily practices teaching proper running and field event techniques supervising athletes during practices and meets and helping plan workouts that promote skill development conditioning and teamwork. The assistant coach helps create a positive encouraging environment that emphasizes sportsmanship effort and personal growth while ensuring the safety and well-being of all athletes. The position also involves helping with meet organization communication with athletes and families and supporting the overall goals of the track program and school athletic department.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicant should possess a basic understanding of the fundamentals of running/track. Must possess a background and experience with the sport. Applicant should work well with students and other adults and be wiling to put in the time necessary for their coaching responsibilities.
