Job Summary
Burnett Medical Center is looking for a Patient Access Lead.
SHIFT & HOURS: Full-time days M-F 8am-4:30pm
DUTIES: This position would oversee the daily operations of the Patient Access Department ensuring smooth and efficient registration scheduling insurance verification workflows and billing processes. Ensures compliance with Burnett Medical Centers policies CMS regulations and best practices in patient access services. Ensures quality control and customer service excellence.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Associate degree or higher preferred.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Patient Access or related role preferred.
- Strong understanding of registration scheduling and insurance verification.
- Proven leadership experience.
- Knowledge of Medicare Medicaid and third party payer regulations. Knowledge of billing regulations and processes.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with EPIC EHR preferred.
