Requirements:- Grade 10/ N2 Certificate
- Basic Diesel Mechanic Operative Certificate
- Valid Drivers License - Code EB
Responsibilities:- Assist in conducting scheduled services inspections and minor repairs on heavy equipment and light motor vehicles.
- Utilize technical manuals and diagnostic tools to identify mechanical hydraulic and electrical faults.
- Assist in overhauling and rebuilding of components in engines and final drives.
- Provide an effective and efficient field support service by attending to all equipment and machinery breakdowns.
- Assist in conducting fault-finding and root cause analysis on hydraulic systems internal combustion engines and drive lines.
- Conduct risk assessment in work areas.
- Complete daily inspection checklists for tools equipment vehicles and work areas.
- Report all findings and make recommendations to the Supervisor.
- Keep work areas and the workshop area material areas tools equipment and vehicles clean and tidy at all times (good housekeeping).
- Comply with SHE standards by ensuring that all machinery and equipment adhere to strict safety and operational standards.
- Identify and report unsafe and hazardous situations in work areas.
- Comply with Quality standards and deliver output in a manner that supports and meets operational quality standards.
