Job Summary
Pre-Assembly Lead Operator
Job Description
- Lead the team that assembles parts and products according to work instructions blueprints and production schedules
- Operate and safely handle power tools packaging tools including torque wrenches and other hand tools
- Lead the setup and clean out of assembly cells by operate overhead crane running electric stackers
- Maintain consistent production output while meeting quality standards
- Perform visual and functional inspections of assembled frames
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Report equipment issues safety concerns or quality defects to lead
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals
- Load and unload assembly cells using electric-pallet mover
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift push pull and carry materials in accordance with OSHA lifting guidelines
- Familiarity with power tools including torque wrenches and basic hand tools
- Experience working in a high-pace mass production or manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to detail commitment to quality and detecting anomalies.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Moves objects weighing up to 50 pounds
