Maintenance Management Lead (SME II)
Location: MacDill AFB FL
Summary: To provide Subject Matter Expert III (SME) Program Management and Labor necessary in support of the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Special Operations Forces Acquisition Technology and Logistics (SOF AT&L) is responsible for all USSOCOM research development acquisition procurement and logistics. SOF AT&L works with Government academia and industry in meeting its mission to provide rapid and focused acquisition technology and logistics support to Warfighters delivering the most effective capabilities to our Special Operations Forces.
DAWSON personnel will provide contractor support personnel to assist J4 in implementing and systematically maintaining the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) Warehouse Maintenance & Utilization (M&U) Registry Property Accountability Force Management and Materiel Management modules across all Special Operation Forces supply support activities. DPAS is the only authorized Accountable Property System of Record (APSR) approved by the DOD.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Plans coordinates and implements USSOCOM Maintenance and Utilization (M&U) implementations/conversions. Sustains DPAS module requirements in support of USSOCOM end users.
Plans coordinates and implements the conversion of SOF legacy supply and/or maintenance applications to DPAS M&U modules including following steps: (1) validate scope of materiel to be converted (2) validate the levels of maintenance activities (3) validate the M&U structure build to user requirements (4) validate maintenance data loads (5) coordinate/synchronize M&U activation with supporting repair parts sources (DPAS Warehouse(s) (6) validate product warranty requirements (7) perform master data validation/reconciliation and (8) ensure DPAS maintenance.
Provides logistical and maintenance subject matter expertise on the implementation of DPAS including making material maintenance and repair part management accountability policy and procedure recommendations based on systems functionality.
Assists in the development submission and prioritization of DPAS System Change Requests (SCRs) for DPAS M&U Module system functionality. Provides clarifying feedback to SOCOM Enterprise Division. Participates in the DPAS System Acceptance Testing (SAT) as required provides technical findings and feedback and supports SCR approval/disapproval recommendations to government.
Gain certification to become SOCOM DPAS M&U trainer. Coordinates and provides DPAS classroom instruction and ad-hoc training support as required.
Support the DPAS Information Owner (IO) /Assistant Information Owner (AIO) with coordination and validation of user roles and permissions for M&U access request packages.
Employs the entire Microsoft Office Suite capability to produce manage workload requirements and provide administrative work products.
Employs matured interpersonal skills such as action and solution-oriented approach to problem solving to support DPAS implementation in a fast-paced and fluid environment.
Actions the governments intent with little to no direct guidance to achieve objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree required in logistics management supply-chain or business-related field
Minimum 10 Years of combined experience with DOD or other federal agency in Maintenance Operations Program Management Material Management or Logistics INCLUDING:
Minimum 7 years experience as a government warehouse manager
Minimum 7 years in personnel management of teams larger than twenty
Minimum 3 years experience in Major Command
Minimum 7 years experience in a Logistics Information System
Prefer one year SOF experience with knowledge of USSOCOM enterprise subordinate organizations and Service roles and responsibilities
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Requires Secret Clearance on day one of performance
