The Data Analyst will collect analyze and interpret data to provide actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. This role involves transforming complex datasets into clear meaningful reports and visualizations identifying trends and recommending solutions to improve business performance. The Data Analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy integrity and accessibility while leveraging analytical tools and best practices to drive data-informed outcomes.** Please note that this position is on-site and is not eligible for remote work **
Essential Duties:
- Use statistical methods data mining techniques and visualization tools to explore and analyze data
- Identify patterns trends and anomalies within datasets that can inform business decisions
- Build predictive models forecast future trends and identify key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Explain complex data in a clear and concise manner highlighting key insights and recommendations
- Collaborate to implement data-driven strategies
- Perform recurring data audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Create advanced data visualizations and blended datasets in Workday Prism to integrate Workday and non-Workday data sources
- Ensure data integrity security source control and compliance with KCU policies and privacy regulations
- Deliver specialized time-sensitive reports to meet emerging business needs
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Data Analytics Computer Science Data Science or Statistics
- 2-5 years of analytics experience leveraging large multi-source datasets using analytic tools (e.g. Python Power BI Tableau)
- High degree of discretion judgment and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
- Strong analytical problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with configuring Workday reports (including advanced and composite reports) and calculated fields
- Knowledge of Workday data sources and business objects
- Experience building data sets leveraging Workday Prism Analytics
