Job Description:

The Data Analyst will collect analyze and interpret data to provide actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. This role involves transforming complex datasets into clear meaningful reports and visualizations identifying trends and recommending solutions to improve business performance. The Data Analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy integrity and accessibility while leveraging analytical tools and best practices to drive data-informed outcomes.

Essential Duties:

Use statistical methods data mining techniques and visualization tools to explore and analyze data
Identify patterns trends and anomalies within datasets that can inform business decisions
Build predictive models forecast future trends and identify key performance indicators (KPIs)
Explain complex data in a clear and concise manner highlighting key insights and recommendations
Collaborate to implement data-driven strategies
Perform recurring data audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity
Create advanced data visualizations and blended datasets in Workday Prism to integrate Workday and non-Workday data sources
Ensure data integrity security source control and compliance with KCU policies and privacy regulations
Deliver specialized time-sensitive reports to meet emerging business needs

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Data Analytics Computer Science Data Science or Statistics
2-5 years of analytics experience leveraging large multi-source datasets using analytic tools (e.g. Python Power BI Tableau)
High degree of discretion judgment and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
Strong analytical problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with configuring Workday reports (including advanced and composite reports) and calculated fields
Knowledge of Workday data sources and business objects
Experience building data sets leveraging Workday Prism Analytics
