Job Summary

As a joint venture of Daimler Truck AG and the Volvo Group AB we are responsible for all activities along the entire value chain for fuel cell systems: from research and development to production and marketing for use in trucks and other applications outside vehicles. Core tasks:
You evaluate select and develop suppliers based on defined quality criteria and global development programs strategically and future-oriented.
You will independently plan and carry out national and international audits (e.g. according to VDA ISO IATF) and also evaluate industrialization concepts.
You will be responsible for advance quality planning (e.g. APQP PPAP FMEA) in complex development and series projects.
You will lead escalations and cross-functional problem-solving teams to stabilize quality and delivery performance in the long term.
You will introduce quality methods and supplier quality processes globally develop them further and ensure their standardization.
You will improve quality standards processes and concepts at suppliers with a focus on quality costs and delivery capability.
You conduct training courses and are the central contact person for all quality-related topics relating to suppliers.
Required skills/experience:
You have completed a technical degree (Masters or Diploma) with a focus on quality management and have more than 7 years of professional experience.
You have expert knowledge in relevant standards such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 as well as in methods such as FMEA MSA SPC and Six Sigma (Black Belt or comparable qualification).
You are fluent in English and have strong intercultural communication skills.
You have experience in global supplier development as well as strategic quality management.
You are confident in dealing with CAQ systems SAP MES and modern data analysis tools.
You have leadership skills in international project teams.
You are qualified as an auditor for VDA 6.3.
