Job Summary
Introduction
Position: Registered Nurse Medical ICU (MICU)
Location: Cape Town (Central)
REF: MVG-MICU
A prominent private healthcare group is recruiting an experienced Registered Nurse to join a highacuity Medical ICU delivering specialised evidencebased and compassionate care to critically ill patients. The role requires advanced clinical skill sound judgement and the ability to coordinate holistic care within a multidisciplinary team.
Role Responsibilities:
Providing expert assessment planning and implementation of specialised MICU nursing care.
Acting as a clinical resource and patient advocate to ensure safe highquality outcomes.
Leading emergency interventions and maintaining bestpractice standards in critical care.
Supporting continuous training mentoring and professional development within the unit.
Ensuring effective communication teamwork and optimal utilisation of resources.
Requirements:
- Registered Professional Nurse with SANC.
- Strong knowledge of specialised nursing theory critical care principles and modern clinical practice.
- Post Basic qualification in Critical Care Nursing highly preferred or at least 4-5 years experience within MICU
