Job Summary
Groot Industries a subsidiary of Waste Connections is looking for a safety conscious Yard Laborer to join the team at the Dukane Transfer Station in West Chicago IL.
In this position you will be occasionally operating and moving equipment such as forklifts skid steers compactors and other light equipment.
Helping out throughout the yard as needed and assisting customers.
You will be responsible for routine inspection and maintenance on the equipment such as checking oil water and tires.
Other job related duties as assigned.
This is a physical job working outside in all weather conditions.
Monday-Friday day shift with occasional Saturdays.
Job Requirements
Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
