Job Description
As a Security Officer - Government Center Patrol in Fort Worth TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will support riders and staff with strong customer service clear communication and timely reporting of concerns. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to riders employees and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at public transportation locations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including medical calls disorderly conduct suspicious activity and service disruptions and escalate to law enforcement and/or emergency services as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms parking areas transit centers administrative buildings and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited activity.
- Monitor access points gates and restricted areas; verify credentials and/or visitor authorization as required; and direct pedestrians and vehicle traffic to support orderly operations.
- Complete patrol logs incident reports and daily activity documentation; communicate observations and issues to site leadership and/or dispatch using radios phones and reporting systems.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 1 years of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
