What Is This Role

Most BDR jobs hand you a script and a quota. This isnt Topsort the Business Development Representative role is built for someone who thinks like a founder moves like an athlete and wants to own the top of funnel for one of the most technically ambitious products in Retail Media today. Were building Retail Media Infrastructure 3.0 and we need the kind of person who gets excited by that not intimidated.

This is a high-autonomy role where your output directly shapes company growth. Top performers here grow fast into bigger commercial roles broader ownership and real career youre looking for a launchpad into a serious sales career at a category-defining company with a clear path forward for top performers this is it.

What Youll Own

  • Pipeline Creation: Drive outbound pipeline through relentless multi-channel prospecting Hubspot email sequences LinkedIn Sales Navigator cold calls and everything in between.
  • Strategic Research: Go deep on target accounts understand their business models pain points and buying signals before you ever reach out.
  • First-Touch Ownership: Lead discovery conversations that qualify and convert communicating Topsorts value with clarity and conviction.
  • Messaging Innovation: Constantly test and iterate on outreach what works what doesnt and why. Youll have a point of view on this.
  • Field & Event Activation: Show up in person at industry events activations and field initiatives to build pipeline and represent the brand. Travel is part of the role.
  • CRM Discipline: Own your pipeline end-to-end in HubSpot. Clean data strong follow-through.
  • Cross-Functional Impact: Work closely with Sales Marketing and Product to surface insights sharpen messaging and unlock new growth motions.

What We Think You Need to Be Successful-were open to candidates who dont check every box but show strong potential!

Who You Are

  • 1 years of experience in a BDR SDR or similar outbound sales role ideally in SaaS AdTech or B2B tech.
  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
  • Youve done real outbound at scale sequences cold calls LinkedIn prospecting and you have the results to show for it.
  • Youre a sharp communicator written and verbal who can adapt your style to different buyers and contexts.
  • You thrive in ambiguity. Fast-moving environments dont stress you out; they energize you.
  • Youre resilient. Rejection is data not defeat.
  • You have genuine commercial intuition you think about why businesses buy not just how to sell.
  • HubSpot or similar CRM experience you understand why process matters.
  • Location: Hybrid Boston based. Travel required for events and field activations.

Bonus Points
- Familiarity with retail marketplaces or media monetization.
- Fluency in additional languages beyond English.
