Job Summary
Responsible for HVAC and mechanical building systems utilizing knowledge of refrigeration theory control systems pipe fitting and structural layouts. Performs preventative maintenance site surveys replacement and modifications as needed or requested by customers. Responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Skills and Experience
Five to seven years commercial/industrial HVAC experience
Essential Functions and Duties (including but not limited to)
- Uses a variety of hand-tools following blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
- Identifies analyzes and repairs equipment instruments and products at the customers location(s).
- Seek out and submit Work Change Authorizations based on customer need.
- Maintains company vehicle by keeping records of service manuals schedules with warehouse manager required maintenance and repairs.
- Turns in all required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
- Ability to use provided software applications to document customer calls labor and work performed.
Education
- Associates Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with a certificate in Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning; or equivalent experience.
- EPA approved Universal Technician Certification
